Since Anne Carson won the Nobel Prize in Literature, I’ve been happy to see that my photos of her have been featured in dozens of publications around the world, including Wikipedia, Princeton, Berkeley, The Conversation, and the official Nobel Prize website.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney even used my photo in his official note congratulating her.

I took this portrait of her at the National Book Awards in New York City in 2024 as a volunteer with WikiPortraits (we photograph notable people for Wikipedia).

I also had the privilege of photographing the Nobel Prizes themselves in Stockholm and Oslo in 2024.

As a Canadian writer and photographer, I’m honoured to see my portraits being used around the world to celebrate Anne Carson’s extraordinary achievement. 🇨🇦📸
